About Us
Our Philosophy
Lotus Kids Occupational Therapy delivers support through a family-centred Key Worker approach to children & their families in Northern NSW and the Southern Gold Coast.
We believe children do best when they feel safe, understood, and accepted. Our approach honours each child’s individuality and focuses on supporting participation in everyday life - at home, school, and in the community.
At Lotus Kids OT, support is not about changing who a child is. Instead, we work alongside children and caregivers to:
Understand each child’s strengths, needs, and nervous system
Adapt environments and tasks to better support participation
Build meaningful skills through play, connection, and real-life experiences
We value collaboration, transparency, and practical support that fits real family life.
Our work is grounded in a belief that difference is not deficit, and that progress looks different for every child.
What is a Key Worker?
A Key Worker is a professional who works closely with your family to support your child's development and coordinate supports when needed.
Rather than attending multiple separate therapies, the Key Worker:
Works with your child in everyday environments
Coaches parents and educators
Focuses on practical strategies for daily routines
Collaborates with other therapists when needed
Meet Chloe
Hi, I’m Chloe, the Occupational Therapist & Independent Key Worker behind Lotus Kids Occupational Therapy.
I work with children and families to support meaningful participation in everyday life - at home, school, and in the community. My approach is neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and relationship-centred, recognising that children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported in environments that meet their needs.
At Lotus Kids, I focus on supporting children’s emotional regulation, sensory processing, functional skills, and confidence, while empowering parents and caregivers with practical strategies they can use beyond therapy sessions. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, realistic, and embedded into daily routines - not something that feels overwhelming or disconnected from real life.
Prior to Lotus Kids, I have had roles in Long Daycare & School settings. This has led me to my passion for task and environmental adaptation, skill-based programs, and parent coaching. Rather than trying to “fix” a child, I work to understand why something feels hard and how we can adjust the task, environment, or expectations to support success and independence.
Lotus Kids Occupational Therapy was created to be a calm, welcoming space where children are supported to be, do, and grow - at their own pace, in their own way.
